Acetate Paper


Definition: This is a transparent plastic paper used for by bakers and chefs to create decorations to finish cakes, cookies and candy. Chocolate and other ingredients can be spread in thin layers on the sheets and then it can be molded or wrapped into shapes by manipulating the sheets. Acetate rolls, strips, sheets and liners can be wrapped around cakes or used in molds. Designs can also be printed on the acetate and then transferred onto desserts, cookies and candy. It can also be used for floodwork.
