I like to keep abreast of new cake decorating tools and often look around on the internet for innovative new technologies targeting cake design. I was very interested to see a description about a cake decorating machine. I would be very interested in any tool that can make fine cornelli lace less excruciating on my hands so I went to take a look at the machine.
It turned out to be a very nice machine that put simple Spirograph like circles on the top of single tier cakes. The person running the machine can decide exactly how much piped icing is applied to the top of the cake from very simple circles to complex patterns. I would love to see this machine in action because it looks very cool but I don't think anyone is close to making that machine that helps me pipe thin streams of royal icing in a convoluted design. I will ice my hand and keep looking.
